CBI focus

CBI’s horizontal grinders are the most technologically advanced and powerful on the market, says MSC, with the capability to grind demolition debris, railroad ties, whole trees, pallets, storm debris, logs, mulch and stumps etc. Each grinder is engineered to meet unique customer specs and requirements for system feedback and control.

• The CBI 5800BT is designed for power and for ease of transportation
• With all the logistical considerations associated with transporting heavy equipment, MSC and its customers appreciate that no load restrictions / road permits are required for the #5800BT when transporting it
• The rotor adheres to CBI’s proven formulas for geometry and speed to maximise production rates while maintaining fuel economy
• Built to reduce the customer’s total cost, replaceable 1" thick Hardox 450 wear liners fully protect the inside of the grinding chamber and simplify maintenance
• Other features include a 30" diameter upper feed roller with a built-in high-torque hydraulic motor, hydraulic up and down pressure, and 20 weld-on hammers with bolt-on reversible tips
• Tips are arranged in a patented offset helix pattern that cuts the full width of the rotor, drastically increasing throughput

MSC is proud to offer as part of its product portfolio, Dipperfox ‘Stump Crusher’ attachments, which are several times faster and a lot more fuel efficient than the traditional methods of stump removal. Now the same job gets done 4 times faster, with a much cleaner end result.

This unique tool is ideal for clearing the ground after deforestation, preparing plots for construction or farming, trenching or urban landscaping.
