The Screenworks team was excited to see a shiny new piece of equipment land in the Aylesbury yard. Southern Screenworks Limited proudly took ownership of two new Chieftain 1400 Powerscreens in November.

It’s been just over a year since Stevens Group came on board as the official Powerscreen dealer for New Zealand. Stevens continues to go the extra mile for its customers, including investing in their people and technical expertise. Stevens had the privilege to have Powerscreen’s training manager, Wallace Mahaffy, conduct training at its HQ facility. The programme provides in-depth technical training for the servicing and maintenance of Powerscreen equipment. A valuable week of top-class training in the classroom, paired with machine hands-on sessions.
Core focus & commitment to customer care
During the commissioning process Stevens says it makes sure the machine is performing correctly, to ensure the customer gets full machine productivity and tonnage rates – it is how you support that customer and their business that counts.

Doppstadt recycling solutions technical & service training
The Doppstadt Academy professionals have completed another successful training session – this time in Auckland, New Zealand.
Special thanks to Philip Schwingel – Doppstadt field service technician for conducting training at Stevens Group's Auckland facility.
From 5-15 February 2024, Doppstadt Academy trainer Schwingel gave the field service and workshop staff a technical overview of the Doppstadt product portfolio. The combination of theory and practice ensured an entertaining transfer of knowledge, which vividly conveyed the application areas and versatility of these machines. This was particularly well received by Stevens staff!
The recycling training course covered a combination of practical workshop exercises and classroom-based learning. Doppstadt’s training academy works to create even better learning concepts and strategies so that work can be carried out productively and safely.
The Doppstadt Academy aims to precisely communicate the knowledge about machines to guarantee productive and safe usage that strengthens the position of Stevens as a NZ dealer and promotes the customer’s productivity.
The training participants and class of Summer 2024 learned everything about the operation and maintenance of the METHOR, INVENTHOR, AK, SM and SELECTOR ranges, the structure of the hydraulic, engine and electric components, as well as troubleshooting and DoppDiagnostic-Software.
Additional topics covered the commissioning and introduction of a Doppstadt kit at a customers’ site, highlights of the machines and application purposes. The course participants practiced the entire machine instruction procedure in role play to perfectly present it to customers.
