We are excited to announce the release of the new Total Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 in New Zealand. This heavy-duty engine oil takes performance, including OEM drain intervals, to a whole new level.
When a new heavy-duty diesel engine oil exceeds international standards and is able to replace three of its predecessors, you know you have something special. Designed especially for the heavy-duty industry, particularly construction and mining, this oil is recommended for the most recent engines of high-value machinery – whether they may be Komatsu, Hitachi, Isuzu or Kobelco and more.
Your service intervals may be extended as well: the API rating CK-4 is designed for greater oxidation and soot control, all contributing to increasing endurance and lifespan of heavy-duty machinery.
Proven formula
The extraordinary composition of the new Rubia Works 4000 doesn’t just optimise drain intervals: it also helps keeping heavy-duty diesel engines up to 70% cleaner than some other oils on the market. All this thanks to Oil Intel’s international oils & lubricants partner Total: their R&D team have conducted extensive research and field tests to continually improve the formula before releasing this product.
International standards
The new range meets the SAPS restrictions applied by engine manufacturers and helps extend diesel particulate filter service life. Further significant improvements were achieved on temperature resistance and anti-wear properties – making the new Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 an outstanding off- and on-road oil solution even in the most severe conditions.
Rubia Works 4000 15W-40 specifications supersede other products in the Total range which means you can consolidate use of some other Total products:
• Rubia TIR 7900 15W-40
• Rubia Optima 15W-40
• Rubia Works 2000 10W-40
Rubia Works 4000 is fully compatible with the above oils. This means transitioning is simple: the new oil can go straight into your existing bulk tanks.
